1/2 kilo of short Yuli pasta
2 medium tomatoes, chopped boys
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 red pepper, seeded and chopped
20 fresh basil leaves, chopped
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon of salt
Black pepper to taste
Mix the tomatoes, garlic, pepper and basil in a large bowl. Sprinkle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Mix well and let stand at room temperature for at least one hour to incorporate the flavors.
Boil enough salt water in a large pot. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain and serve with the sauce on top.
